Physiotherapy

Offering physiotherapy services to children, infants and adults.

Monika grew up on a farm in the Okanagan where she was a competitive equestrian in the sport of dressage and competed for team Canada. In addition to horse riding, she is a triathlete racing up to the Ironman distance (3.8km swim, 180km bike and a 42km run all in one day!) She knows all about sports injuries and advocates for prevention and rehabilitation. You can find Monika in the gym 3x per week keeping her body strong and healthy.

Monika did not follow the traditional path to becoming a physiotherapist. She has an engineering background where she worked on pipelines, windmills, and cyclotrons. She has a hands-on philosophy which she brings into her life by doing her own car maintenance and fixing things around the house.

After her bachelors Monika went to the UK to pursue her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Upon returning to Canada she worked for Kids Physio in Vancouver and North Vancouver. She loves to play and keep physiotherapy sessions fun and engaging.

In her spare time you won’t find her sitting still but rather baking up a storm, exploring BC with her dog Kona, skiing, riding, biking, or working on new inventions to combine the electrical engineering world with physiotherapy.
